Let's discuss Indiana's FSSA privatization

Obviously the big reason it's making any news right now is that Democrats and Unions were against the initial privatization. The "spokespeople" are a bit suspect coming from virtually non-existent ACORN like groups. I'd be curious where they're support comes from.

If you know something about the actual services provided, I'd love to hear your comments.

But to argue that something won't work primarily because it's being done with less money and less workers, is pretty 1970 liberal.

Key words in Mr. Cardwell's quote "more money" ... for what? More money is no solution. Oh yeah, one more misleading thing: Nancy Griffin is his wife, not necessarily another prized expert, not sure that was divulged at this mock press conference to attack Mitch Daniels.

Come one step right up and tell me about the actual services being provided and actual people we're helping, not the people who are mad that they used to do the work more expensively.

The opponents included John Cardwell of the Indiana Home Care Task force; Nancy Griffin, a volunteer investigator; Jim Wallihan of United Senior Action; Andrea Smothers, a resident ombudsman with Indiana Legal Services in Lafayette; and Katie Bunder, executive director of Food Finders Food Bank.

"Humpty Dumpty has been pushed off the wall. It will take a lot of money and duct tape to get Humpty Dumpty back together again," he said.

This article is great…I am tired of constantly reading about the Cardwell brothers and their opinions on the FSSA…How are they credentialed? They're not.

These two have to be some of the most fraudulent scam artists in Indiana…Has any of the media mentioned that these two have ties to the other side as well? They are contributors to the Jill Long Thompson campaign and a little research would have unveiled that...If that is not enough, of the five organizations that John claims to be involved with - no one can find anything close to a membership roster for any of these groups.. Not to mention, he has total control over two of the groups and a large amount of influence over the other two..(one of which his wife sits on the board)...

But yet, reporters today are too busy and don’t do enough digging to report the truth…instead week after week, more and more newspapers across the state feature articles quoting these two men like they are superior…But to whom?!? No one.

Despite all the lies and gossip these two are throwing around…the new modernization system is working! And the numbers are out there to prove it… Seriously, people need to do their homework before opening their mouths.

Again, I say kudos to the FSSA for a system that has been finally put in place to prevent fraud within the system…like I am sure every taxpayer would want.
